Andrea Inghisciano studied trumpet and jazz at the Istituto Musicale “P.Mascagni” in Livorno with Marco Nesi and Mauro Grossi, then cornetto at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Bruce Dickey.
He leads the ensemble I Cavalieri del Cornetto, with wich he recorded “Tempesta di passaggi” (Arcana 2021) and “Trillo gagliardissimo” (Novantiqua 2024).
Beyond the concert activity he is also a cornetto maker.

After fifteen years exclusively dedicated to the early music, in 2024 he takes back the trumpet and performs mainly with the Magicaboola Brass Band.
He has taught cornetto at the conservatories of Palermo, Venezia, Livorno and Novara, and at the summer courses in Urbino and Valvasone.
